Location: Sevenoaks, Kent
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 Per Year + Progression
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Workshop Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle heavy components using appropriate equipment.
- The work will involve manufacturing of GRP access structures, fabrication of stair edges, building of handrail units and other associated systems.
- Use of machinery such as pillar drills, large bench saws, wall saws, hand power tools will be required and handling of adhesives.
- Use and Operate forklifts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Physically fit.
- Previous experience with fabrication. (Desirable)
- Be willing to learn new skills.
- Able to use hand and power tools.
- Able to read Schematics.
