OB31: Service Support Manager

Location: Halifax

Salary: £Competitive + Bonuses

Our client is currently looking for a full time, permanent Service Support Manager for their main office in Halifax.

Our client counts some of the UK High Street’s biggest names as their customers and are rapidly expanding their operation nationally. This is an exciting time to be a part of that journey.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management to a team of 20+, day to day support and motivation to the teams. This includes problem solving, managing rota’s/holidays/sickness along with authorisation of actions in line with company policy
  • To manage and report the department’s performance against company set targets with the aim of achieving continuous improvement
  • To identify training needs within the department, plus oversee or carry out training as appropriate
  • To carry out staff appraisals and interim staff reviews as deemed necessary
  • Report on set KPI’s , these will revolve around the departmental measures used for individual and team incentives

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and implement change effectively within the departments and teams
  • Experience in a customer service role with management or supervisory experience in a call centre or similar environment
  • Customer Service and telephone skills
  • Organised and the ability to work under pressure
  • Logical and methodical thinker
