Location: London, West End
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Benefits
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Senior Installation & Commissioning Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out installation and maintenance on CCTV & Access Control Systems from start to finish.
- Act in a professional and friendly manner when dealing with all customers and staff.
- Carry out Installations and/or maintenance on the above systems to meet quality standards and company policies and procedures
- Liaise with the Technical Manager for advice on systems and technical problems.
- Ensure customer needs are satisfied regarding sales and service.
- Ensure compliance to security systems response as to NSI requirements.
- Ensure adherence to the Quality requirements of ISO9001 and compliance with the National Security Inspectorate and to complete internal audits as directed.
- Work within the confines of the General Data Protection Regulations: respecting the rights of Data Subjects and ensuring that personal data is processed as described in the Company’s Data Protection Policy.
- Carry out and comply with all company policies, procedures and instructions and any other reasonable duties deemed necessary by the company.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Competent in all aspects of the installation & maintenance of analogue/IP CCTV systems.
- Good working knowledge & understanding of IP networks and basic routing knowledge.
- Experience in fault finding and successful troubleshooting.
- CSCS/ECS Operatives Card (Provided by Company).
- Full driving license (Max. 6 points).
- PASMA certification.
- IPAF Certification.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- GCSE English Grade C or above (Or equivalent qualification).
- GCSE Maths or Science Grade C or above (Or equivalent qualification).
- Good written & verbal communication skills.
- At least 5 years’ experience and good knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.
- Able to learn new products and their functions to fulfil the requirements of the system.
- A comprehensive understanding of the service we provide.
- Good computer skills for using email and Microsoft documents including publisher.
- Enjoys working as part of a structured team.
