MS231- IT Service Analyst

Location: Watford 

Salary: £36,000 per annum 

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for an IT Service Analyst.

You will be responsible for managing cloud-based services and on-site facilities for about 2000+ users managing an ecosystem of around 25+ applications.

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities of an IT Service Analyst:

  • Support for the coordination among business, suppliers and IT Operations to implement relevant Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes (such as but not exclusively, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management).
  • Contribute to managing relationships effectively with suppliers and business.
  • Supporting in ensuring that Service Level Agreements and Underpinning Contracts related to business systems are appropriate for the agreed service level.
  • Supporting the Management of Major incidents, providing punctual actions, requesting the vendor of identifying their root causes and defining remedial measures (problems, prevention and avoidance).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ITIL Service Management experience such as at least one of these processes such as Service Request, Incident/Problem, Change, Release and Deployment Management.
  • Have a passion, interest and the ability to be an advocate for Best Practices.
  • Exposure to SLAs and suppliers’ management and service monitoring methods and ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy, SNOW/ServiceNow, Cherwell.
  • Knowledge of ITIL4 backed by at the very least by a ITIL4 Foundation level certification.
