HA106: HGV Class 2/3.5T Driver
Location: Stroud
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an HGV Class 2/3.5T Driver on behalf of one of our clients.
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role and be expected to work 50+/hrs per week Monday to Friday, some Sundays, during peak season (March – Sept). During the off-peak season you may be required to assist in the warehouse or be assigned other duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out a daily vehicle check.
- Checking and securing the load.
- Delivering all goods in a correct, safe, and punctual manner.
- Adhering to Road Transport Legislation.
- Show stand furniture set up/break down.
- Care Home/Hotel furniture installations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Be at least 25yrs old with a clean licence.
- Have at least 1 year HGV Class 2 Experience.
- Hold a valid DCPC and Category C licence.
- Be physically fit.
- Be reliable, versatile within the job, self-motivated, and have good time management.
- Have a friendly, enthusiastic attitude, strong work ethic and a good customer facing manner.
