MB328 – Fire & Security Engineer
Location: London (with travel across home counties)
Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 DOE
Working Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Additional benefits: Van, mobile, tablet, £200 additional call out rota bonus + hourly rate if called out. Overtime available at time and a half for week days and Saturdays. Double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Fire & Security Engineer for a national fire and security business who are expanding. They are looking for a Fire & Security Engineer who is willing to travel throughout London and the Home Counties to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installation work including first fix cable/conduit, second fix fire and security equipment.
- Working with the administration team, complying with company policies and work instructions.
- Uploading all job sheets to the database each day and updating the admin team, maintaining an accurate and high standard of paperwork.
- Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met and working to the current industry standards.
- Client liaison.
- To undertake callout duties as part of the engineering team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- At least one year’s previous relevant experience is essential for this role.
- It would be an advantage if the candidate has FIA, IPAF, CSCS and ECS.
- A good understanding of the British Standards for Fire & Security.
- Ability to work well on own initiative.
