EJ609 – Field Service Engineer (Smoke Ventilation)
Location: Greater Manchester, Lancashire or Birmingham
Salary: £27,000-£30,000 + van + overtime
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
Required to carry out planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and service on electric and pneumatic smoke control systems across the UK.
Working within car parks, large residential buildings, shopping centres and warehouses.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military candidates however, all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Remote Service and/or Inspection to the system in accordance with the manufacturers Service Specification.
- Repair, test and clean various types of ventilators, extractor fans, smoke curtains, compressors, smoke extract door type systems and car park smoke ventilation systems.
- Inspect, repair and carry out functional and electrical testing on various control panels and battery backup units.
- Provide customers with technical support over the phone during and out of normal working hours.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Electrical qualifications such as an NVQ or City & Guilds, pneumatic skills and a full UK driving license.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Clean UK driving licence.
