Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an Engineering Shift Technician on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Engineering Shift Technician:

• You’ll be one of 8 skilled Engineers who maintains and repairs a modern and varied fleet of vehicles.
• Ensuring customers can travel safely and comfortably every day.
• There is a dedicated high level training programme to reinforce your existing skills and give an opportunity to gain a qualification in another trade.
• Not all depot work, there will also be a requirement to travel and fix roadside issues.
• All clothing and specialist equipment will be provided.

Skills and Qualifications for the Engineering Shift Technician:

• You must have served a recognised apprenticeship in PCV/HGV maintenance, hold a minimum level 3 S/NVQ or equivalent qualification and have at least 3 years of qualified experience.
• Must be capable of and commit to achieving a S/NVQ Level 3 in a different automotive discipline to their current trade (i.e. Electrical / Mechanical).
• You will also possess the ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults using relevant diagnostic techniques.
• You need to want to deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repair.
