DC273 – Assessor in Electrical Installation
Location – Newcastle-under-Lyme / Stafford
Salary – £20,569 to £29,632 + Bonuses + Benefits

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are working in partnership with our client to recruit a suitably qualified individual join our pro-active, dynamic and friendly team of Assessors based at their sites in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford. The successful applicant will be required to deliver high quality apprenticeships and work-based training to local employers. You will assess customers/apprentices in their place of work, and seek to combine a speedy achievement for employers with a quality product for candidates as well as developing and maintaining relationships with our client’s local employers.

You will need access to your own suitable transport to be able to visit various locations across the Staffordshire region.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To develop, maintain and manage relationships with local employers.
  • To take an active part in the recruitment of new apprentices through contact with local employers.
  • To complete on-site NVQ 3 assessments in compliance with awarding body standards and to monitor progress of apprentices.
  • To take an active part in the recruitment of new apprentices through contact with local employers.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Hold appropriate qualifications to level 3 along with experience in the electrical installation industry.
  • Hold or willing to work towards the appropriate assessor’s qualifications (TAQA Level 3, progressing onto TAQA Level 4).
  • Has industry experience in Electrical Installation, with current knowledge and the ability to deliver to industry standard.
  • Is well organised and able to manage the peaks and troughs of a varied workload.
  • Able to communicate effectively with students and peers.

  • A salary of £20,569 – £29,632 plus a £5,000 annual salary supplement for qualified candidates.
