EY85 Warehouse Manager

Location: Andover

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Warehouse Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for covering 6 warehouses and 8 yards.

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Day to day organisation of a goods received quarantine area.
• Liaison with QC function for goods receipt inspections.
• Receipt of deliveries to site, including notification of deliveries to other functions.
• Monitor stock against agreed inventory levels and re-order as required.
• Participate in stock counts and reconciliation against inventory.
• Ensure stock items have appropriate bar codes and match the system.
• Issue materials for production per daily work list (picklist).
• Produce various reports (as requested).
• FLT and company vehicles (van/s) daily checks e.g., tyres, oil, water, lights, horn.
• Use tooling control system.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3 years’ experience in a stores/warehouse environment and experience in operating a computerised stores management system.
• Forklift driving license.
• Full driving license.
• Knowledge of stores management techniques and systems, particularly in a fast-moving environment.
• IT skills (MS Excel essential, need to be completely comfortable with barcode system).
• Knowledge of COSHH datasheet and hazardous materials handling.
