Location: Westbury

Salary: £30,000 to £32,000 per Annum

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for a Vehicle Damage Assessor.

Due to continued growth, our client are looking for a Vehicle Damage Assessor who will be based at their busy Westbury site.

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:

• Meeting and greeting customers.
• Estimating damages and inputting them into the system.
• Preparing insurance forms to indicate repair costs and recommendations.
• Understanding customer needs and guiding them towards suitable products and/or services.
• Meet customer requirements considering body shop utilisation targets, job complexity and parts/materials availability.
• Keep the customer up to date on the progress on workshop progress.
• Working alongside the body shop, informing them on the work needed to be done.
• Negotiating contracts with material suppliers.
• Monitoring efficiency of work and processes to ensure quality repairs.

Skills and Qualifications for the Vehicle Damage Assessor:

• You will be a highly motivated, driven individual who will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience carrying out estimates in a body shop environment, previous experience of using Audatex.
• Whilst an ATA qualification is desirable it is not essential.
• You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Will hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
