HA50 – Transport Office Administrator

Location: Frome, Somerset 

Salary: £21,000 – £23,000 DOE

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an administrator on behalf of our clients, a well-established and expanding logistics organisation.

This role would be suited to ex-military personnel but all candidates will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deal with any Driver queries and printing of Lifting Certificates if required for first jobs.
  • Working alongside the transport manager in providing excellence in the transport function.
  • Placing orders on the Palletways system for pallet deliveries.
  • Organising transport for the collection of returns Resolving account queries with the sales team and where necessary entering sales orders on the company’s Sales Order Processing system
  • AEO Compliance and administration.
  • Collate information linked to wasted journeys and waiting time for charges.
  • Dealing with all e-mails received from HQ, Customers and Suppliers.
  • Booking and Keeping up to date with testing for company vehicles.
  • Checking and completing all drivers’ sheets for daily work carried out to ensure all is matched.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Good administration, organisation and time management skills.
  • Transport industry knowledge – Desirable.
  • Good Microsoft Office Knowledge

Salary: £21,000 – £23,000 DOE
