LB59 – Shift Manager
Location: Smethwick
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Shift Manager.
To support the running of daily operations with a focus on taking responsibility of all shop floor personnel issues, site maintenance and stock management to ensure the highest quality and customer service at the lowest cost.
Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for handling all shop floor personnel issues.
- To be responsible for conducting staff appraisal meetings.
- To be responsible for staff holiday management.
- To be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all equipment and machinery on site.
- To review stock and ensure availability to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
- To develop a culture of continuous improvement on quality and service.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Must have proven management experience ideally within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong administration skills.
- Computer literate
- Degree educated is preferable.
- Must be responsible, committed and positive.

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000
