Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire 

Salary: £19,500 per Annum full time equivalent (pro rata for part time)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for a Patient Services Support Administrator.

Working to support a team of Patient Development Specialists, this busy and varied role will involve you in all aspects of administration and telephone work

Full time: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday: 7.5 hours per day within the hours of 9.00am – 7.00pm.

Part time: minimum 4 hours per day within the hours of 9.00am – 7.00pm.

Office based however following successful training post holders will be able to apply to work remotely on an 80/20 split (80% office, 20% home).

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Patient Services Support:

  • Calling GP surgeries.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all work is completed and up to date by month end to ensure all payments.
  • Exemption checking.
  • General admin tasks.
  • Inbound Calls.
  • Processing electronic prescriptions and liaising with patients to arrange delivery of supplies.
  • Processing Orders.
  • Reminder to order calls to patients.
  • To perform such other duties as may be reasonably requested by Team Leader.
  • Working to targets set by Team Leader.
  • Your duties will also involve phoning patients to remind them to place their orders, arranging delivery of their supplies, call GP surgeries to discuss prescriptions and be available to take incoming calls.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Database input experience.
  • Excellent communication, oral and written, skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Experience of MS Office.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Methodical approach to your work.
  • Reliable, inquisitive and enthusiastic.
  • Telephone based customer service background.
  • Working to targets.
