EY90 Patient Development Specialist
Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £21,000 to £23,000 per Annum DOE
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for a Patient Development Specialist.
Full time: 37.5 hours/week – Monday to Friday: 7.5 hours/day within the hours of 9.00am – 7.00pm (with half an hour for lunch).
Part time: minimum 4 hours/day within the hours of 9.00am – 7.00pm.
Office based however following successful training post holders will be able to apply to work remotely on an 80/20 split (80% office, 20% home).
Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Patient Development Specialist:
- Action all reports within time scales set.
- Action new patient intro calls in line with the procedure to ensure they fully understand the service provided.
- Call patients on a regular basis and assist with product information.
- Complaint management.
- Cover for other team members if required.
- Identify patient advocates – products and services.
- Perform any other tasks reasonably requested by the Company as required.
- Provide a first-class service experience to ensure patients remain happy with the service provided.
- Take an active part in all departmental meetings.
- Work closely with the patients HCP to ensure everyone is kept up to date.
- Work to targets set by your line manager.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Able to multitask.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Empathy towards patients with complex medical conditions.
- Excellent communication, oral and written, skills.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Possess a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Possess influential and persuasive skill set.
- Proven experience of managing high call volumes.
- Proven telephone-based Customer Service background.
