MS141 – Pallet Racking Installation Team Leader
Location: Walsall
Salary: £12 per hour
Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Pallet Racking Installation Team Leader on behalf of one of our clients, working for a company that specialises in pallet racking and shelving. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the in-house installation team.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however, candidates from all backgrounds will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installing & dismantling pallet racking, drive in racking, cantilever racking, longspan & retail shelving.
- Loading & unloading vehicles.
- Managing a small team & making sure that the works are carried out in line with H&S guidelines.
- Making sure the installation is carried out to manufacture specs (frame orientation, bracing pattern, row spacer locations, shimming, bolting ect)
- Making sure site is cleared and tidy on job completion.
- Travelling to & from jobs.
- Willing to work away when required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience with installing pallet racking.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willing to work weekends, evenings & away from home when required.
- FLT, IPAF, SEIRS & CSCS (desirable)
- Ability to problem solve & understand Corel / CAD drawings / plans.
- Excellent attention to detail.
