Salary: £24,736 per Annum circa
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently supporting our client in the search for a Grounds Maintenance Operative.
Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Grounds Maintenance Operative:
- Fencing.
- Paving.
- Ground Works.
- Surfacing.
- General soft landscaping.
- Client Liaison.
- Daily Record keeping/reporting.
- When demand is low, the successful applicant will be expected to assist with various other hands-on roles within the company but will primarily be part of the Landscaping team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 360 Excavator operator card (desirable but not essential)
- CSCS card (desirable but not essential)
- Chainsaw ticket (desirable but not essential)
- Full UK Driving licence as use of a company vehicle is required during the working day.
- Preferred 3 Years’ Experience in the Landscape Industry.
- Experience using machinery associated with landscaping (Diggers, Borers, breakers etc).
- Good landscape and horticulture knowledge.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
- Ability to keep accurate records for use in reporting works undertaken to clients.
- Ability to perform general/daily maintenance on machinery.
