Overview

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team in their resort on Lake Windermere. Nestled on the shores of Lake Windermere, in the heart of the National Park the resort is the perfect base for relaxing and exploring the Lakes. Straight shifts, 40 hours per week. This is a live out position

*** You will qualify for a new Enhanced Overtime Scheme. An additional £2.50 per hour for every hour worked above your standard contracted hours, for an agreed time period ***

Requirements for a Housekeeping Supervisor

  • As part of the team, maintain outstanding housekeeping standards in guest bedrooms and common areas
  • Assist in the planning and allocation of the team’s work
  • Assist with training the housekeeping team in all department standards and procedures
  • Supervise spring cleaning and other special tasks
  • Deputise for Head Housekeeper and Deputy Head Housekeeper in their absence
  • Assist with management of linen and cleaning products stock
  • Attend to guest requirements and requests
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, room standards, service recovery, cleaning schedules and training

Requirements for a Housekeeping Supervisor

  • Friendly, outgoing and motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues
  • Excellent personal appearance and hygiene standards
  • Inspirational leadership and supervisory skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Knowledge of industry related regulations
  • Willing to adopt a hands on approach to cover sickness/holiday
