Location: Normanton
Salary: £11 – £11.50 ph
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Generator Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client strongly encourages ex-military candidates however, candidates from all backgrounds will be considered.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers equipment.
- Cable Management.
- Fault location, diagnosis and rectification to hire fleet and customers equipment.
- Preparation of equipment for hire.
- Loading and unloading of vehicles using the counterbalance forklift.
- Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
- Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience on generators/plant equipment/heavy engineering (or similar).
- GCSE High school or equivalent.
- Apprenticeship in Engineering.
- City and Guilds Qualifications.
- Forklift Truck Licence (Not essential full training can be provided).
