EY69 Funeral Operative
Location: Bristol
Salary: £21,150 + Benefits
Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5pm
Overtime opportunities:
Rota Chapel Duties – 5pm to 7pm (Mon to Fri) – 9am to 12noon (Sat)
Rota Standby Duties – 5pm to 8.30am (Mon to Thur) – 5pm (Fri) to 8.30am (Mon)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving and bearing on funerals
- Maintaining/ Cleaning all Company Vehicles
- Carrying out removals from the Community
- Preparation of deceased persons
- Taking in flowers from florists and assisting Doctors
- Keeping Garage, Meals Room, Chapels and grounds clean and tidy
- Transportation of deceased persons to Branch Offices
Skills and Qualifications:
- Has leadership & negotiation skills who can supervisor and work with teams
- Has the ability to manage & prioritise the workload and easily adapt to change
- Is detail orientated and can work to a high standard
- Is proactive in bringing new ideas to the table
- Is proficient in communication and information technology
- Has the ability to deal with conflict & obstructive behaviour with the full support of the management
- Is good with problem solving & enjoys a challenge
