FC72 – Front of House/Conferencing Host
Location – Nottingham
Salary – £20,000 to £22,000 DOE


First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client – to recruit a Front of House/Conferencing Host to join their team in Nottingham.

As Front of House/Conferencing Host, you will provide a professional and welcoming greeting to all visitors to MediCity Nottingham. You will manage bookings and set ups of all meeting spaces and ensure the guest experience is the best it can be at all times. You will support the MediCity team and be the first point of contact for all occupiers and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead on meeting and greeting all occupiers and visitors.
  • Take responsibility for the overall appearance of the reception, café seating, common areas and the entrance to the building.
  • Manage all meeting room bookings and deliver the set-up of meeting spaces/AV equipment to client satisfaction to ensure meetings run seamlessly.
  • Ensure all related invoicing information is submitted in a timely manner to the accounts team.
  • Support and be supported by the General Manager and Assistant Manager of the facility.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Support Co-ordinator to ensure an efficient and professional service is always provided.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of working in a similar role.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating across at various levels.
  • Proactive, flexible attitude to the changes to the company, IT systems and the role.
  • Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Able to use own initiative.
  • Fulfil the compliance and policy requirements in accordance with company policies and procedures and the relevant legislative framework.
  • Self-Management including showing initiative, being proactive and meeting deadlines.
  • Great service delivery including working in partnership with internal and external individuals and good communicating in written and verbally.
