Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Auto electrician on behalf of one of our clients.
The company are looking for a time-served auto electrician to assist with the electrical installation of new lorry loader cranes and bespoke bodywork on commercial vehicles.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military candidates for the Auto Electrician, however, all applications will be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities for the Auto Electrician:
- Carry out auto-electrical installations to customer specific requirements.
- Installing relays and working on in-cab connections.
- Working with both 24volt and CANBUS systems.
- Working to wiring diagrams.
- Commissioning of new lorry loaders once installation complete – programming parameters to ensure safe usage.
- Occasional fault finding and diagnosis.
Skills & Qualifications for the Auto Electrician:
- Previous experience on HGV’s
- Good Electrician background is preferred
- Customer focused
- Ability to work as part of a team or on an individual basis where required
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant Electrician qualification is desirable
